Here it comes! Let’s celebrate the 3rd edition of this amazing festival: the Nocturama! It’s so hot out, everyone wants a spot in the shade… well, come out at night, and you’ll see it’s a lot nicer than sweating like a pig all day long! Come visit Seville, one of the most beautiful cities of Spain and take advantage of your stay to check out the Nocturama Festival Seville, one of the most important festivals in the world. Every Wednesdays and Thursdays, thanks to Green Ufos that sponsors the event, you will be able to attend open sky concerts of independent and contemporary music.

This cycle is organized along with “La Suite”, which offers 2 concerts every week with venues of some of the world’s best bands. Also, every week you’ll be invited to open sky cinema in the gardens of the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo.

The first week will be dedicated to Morr and his very odd universe: expect electro and experimental music. Fleischmann will offer you a performance as well as the Austrian Bernhard Isan. Basically, the first week is all about Berlin while the second week makes Paris stand out: Don Nino, Laureau Nicolás’ multi facets band. The 3rd week is an invitation to listen to the best Chicago DJs: Jockey y Kranky. You’ll get to see the great Howe Gelb and El Muerto Texas. The last week of this festival will be focused on 2 projects of the French musician Michel Cloup, founder of the Diabologum y Experiencia.

On the very first day of the event, you’ll be able to see music videos and visual art by Béatrice Utrilla and no doubt that you’ll be fascinated by her last project inspired by music in Horror and science movies. On the next day, you’ll experience a real encounter with the very famous singer Dogbowl from NYC.

Regarding movies, you’ll be offer a selection of fantastic masterpieces on the African-American Community: Foxy Brown, Truck Turner, Superfly, Scream, Blacula, Scream etc.… not to mention those from the 90’s : Los Chicos del Barrio, by Singleton; New Jack City by Mario Van Pebbles and Jackie Brown by Tarantino. This movie cycle is called Blaxploitation; give it a try, it’s worth it.
